Natural Mosquito Control
Plant-based treatments like garlic extract and essential oil blends go on the shady foliage, fence lines, and damp corners where mosquitoes rest. Visits every 3 weeks keep each new generation from building up, and one-time event treatments are available too.
Mosquito control detailsNatural Tick Control
Ticks wait in tall grass, leaf litter, wood piles, and wooded edges. Monthly warm-season treatments target those zones with plant-based products chosen with kids, pets, and pollinators in mind.
Tick control detailsMosquito Stations
Mosquito stations attract egg-laying mosquitoes and stop the next generation before it becomes biting adults. Nothing is sprayed, stations are placed where kids and pets won’t play with them, and a licensed technician checks them every 3 to 4 weeks.

A Smarter Way to Control Mosquitoes
Most mosquito companies fog the whole yard with synthetic insecticides. We take a more targeted approach. Mosquitoes spend the day resting in shade and breed in small pockets of standing water, so that’s where we focus, using plant-based spray products and enclosed mosquito stations instead of blanketing your lawn and flowers. We skip flowering plants where bees and butterflies feed.
Clean Air Mosquito Control is the sister brand of Clean Air Lawn Care, founded in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2006 and franchising since 2008. Our program was built with entomology expertise, including Dr. Silas Davidson, a Board Certified Entomologist who spent 20 years as a U.S. Army medical entomologist. Frequently Asked Questions About Our Mosquito and Tick Services
What services does Clean Air Mosquito Control offer?
Our locations offer natural mosquito control, natural tick control, and Mosquito stations. Our Boise team also offers natural spider control. Every location is locally owned, so find your local team to see exactly what’s available in your area.
Are your treatments pet-friendly?
Yes. Our mosquito, tick, and spider sprays use plant-based products like garlic extract and essential oil blends, chosen with kids, pets, and pollinators in mind. We ask that people and pets stay off treated areas until the treatment dries.
Are mosquito stations natural?
No. Mosquito stations are EPA-registered and use two active ingredients, pyriproxyfen and Beauveria bassiana. They’re enclosed and targeted, so nothing is sprayed and bees and butterflies are left undisturbed. According to the manufacturer, the active ingredients are not toxic to birds or mammals. We place stations where kids and pets won’t play with them and keep them away from ponds, fountains, and streams, as the label requires.
How often do you treat?
We recommend mosquito treatments every 3 weeks during mosquito season, and monthly plans are available too. Tick treatments are typically monthly during the warm season. Mosquito stations are checked every 3 to 4 weeks, and spider control visits in Boise are every 21 days.
Can you treat my yard before a party or event?
Yes. We offer one-time event treatments for backyard parties, graduations, weddings, and other outdoor gatherings. Book a few days ahead so the treatment has time to dry before your guests arrive.
How do you protect bees and other pollinators?
We treat where mosquitoes and ticks rest, like shaded shrubs, fence lines, and wooded borders, and skip flowering plants where bees and butterflies feed. Our mosquito stations are enclosed, so nothing is sprayed at all.
Do you also offer lawn care?
Many of our owners also run Clean Air Lawn Care, our sister brand, which offers organic lawn fertilization, natural weed control, aeration, and more. Ask your local team about bundling lawn care and mosquito control.
